In July 2020, the Series 24 update brought a new Photo Challenge feature in the Festival Playlist.

This feature would reward players if they took a photo of the specified car in front of the specified location as set out by the Photo Challenge for that week. Playground Games may occasionally resurface older Series updates and challenges to give players another shot at earning those rewards. It can also be helpful to know what previous Festival Playlists included as rewards, in case you're missing any of those cars in your own collection. The hype around this upcoming game in the franchise is at an all time high, and to make sure players enjoy it, the developers are adding seasons so that they can continue to add new content after the game is released.

Below are the multiplayer issues that we've heard are most prominently affecting you, and what we're doing to either improve or fix them. We are listening to your feedback and reports, and our next update will be the first step in addressing these issues, with more fixes coming in the next few updates. We've refined Horizon Open to provide a smoother, more streamlined, and more enjoyable racing experience.

First, the number of races in Open Racing events before a car change has been reduced from 5 to 3. We've removed The Goliath from the pool to prevent the long wait times for race completion and we've also eliminated S2 Cross Country races from the class rotation. First, the entire Convoy will be accepted when the leader accepts a Forza LINK invite. We've updated the Convoy icon on the Player Label in the map to be more readable and an infinite load issue when searching for a Convoy via 'Find a Convoy' has also been resolved.

Additionally, we've fixed player labels showing the wrong vehicle PI when viewing the map. Adventure and fun times await in "The Getaway Driver," a live-action trailer starring Cristo Fernández and Karol G that we debuted ahead of Forza Horizon 5's release to celebrate its limitless fun driving action. We also teamed up with Sergio Perez to bring his Piñata challenge to life in both the real world and in Super7. As a symbol of tradition, piñatas represent moments of celebration with family and friends through their color, passion, and happiness. To dive further into the new features of Forza Horizon 5, we kicked off a brand-new livestream series titled Let's ¡Go! We even unveiled the 2020 Toyota GR Supra and the 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 live on air!

Kudos to the teams who pulled together these livestreams biweekly from announce through launch. Team up with other players and enter the Horizon Arcade for a continuing series of fun, over-the-top challenges that keep you and your friends in the action and having fun with no menus, loading screens or lobbies. Meet new friends in Horizon Open and Tours and share your creations with new community gift sharing. Forza Horizon 4 players can expect future Series updates to also include the usual assortment of photo challenges, Forzathon Shop refreshes, and event rewards. Playground revealed this in last night's Forza Monthly livestream, in which the team dished on Horizon 5's lighting and skybox tech. The Series 37 update - due out today - will be Forza Horizon 4's last content patch for the time being.

Although the game will continue receiving updates, their content will be remixes and rehashes of earlier Series releases, meaning no new cars or features. Players of any online game with a big player base will be all too familiar with servers going down. The issue is usually fixed pretty quickly, but can still be pretty frustrating. Sadly, Roblox players were left in a serverless limbo for three days, and over a weekend no less. If you've been struggling with crashes or online stability in Forza Horizon 5, it's probably worth updating your game. This hotfix was supposed to arrive last week, but better late than never.

Pitched as a "hotfix," the first post-launch update unsurprisingly doesn't feature any new content, but rather a wide range of fixes, improvements, and changes, though none that fundamentally change the game. Finally, the Riveting challenge will unlock next Wednesday, requiring the player to complete any chapter of any Horizon Story event. Each of the seven challenges offers up a point towards your seasonal total.
